Quite a reserved nose with some dried tree bark, porcini mushrooms and sandalwood overlaid on the ripe cherries and plums. Quite juicy on the medium- to full-bodied palate framed by tight and nicely chewy tannins. Long and complex finish with a slightly old-fashioned and traditional nuance that shows excellent tertiary complexity. 57% cabernet sauvignon and 43% malbec. Vegan. Complete to enjoy now, but will continue to evolve in the next two to four years.
Complex and layered, this wine provides chalky smooth tannins, ripe fruit, dark plum, cassis, and vanilla, while still also (because of the elevation) being able to maintain a clean palate due to the acidity and freshness of the wine.
