The Whiskey Wash
ith much surprise, I would recommend this spirit. It is smooth, polished, and appropriately viscous, much more like an aperitif than a traditional whisky. Crown Royal clearly spent a lot of time getting the balance right and does not do the 23 year aged whisky an injustice with the flavoring. While I would not spring for $249.99 price tag, I would by no means turn down a glass. Touché Crown Royal, touché.
